Here at Stanton & Killeen, we've been handcrafting and barrel ageing fortified wine since 1875. Seven generations of fortified winemaking have embedded us as a leading expert in and supplier of high-end home barrels and fortified wine.
We're passionate about our craft and enjoy sharing our knowledge and expertise with the world. We stock a range of home barrel products allowing our customers to handcraft and perfect a unique fortified blend they can sip, enjoy and brag about with great satisfaction.
Only the best barrels and casks can create our world-class Muscats, Topaques & Tawnys. While not all fortified wine lovers have the luxury of owning a solera of century-old barrels, we strive to give our customers the best tools, knowledge and advice on their winemaking journey, which brings us to this exciting announcement.
We are releasing 4 x 10-litre and 26 x 20-litre limited-edition Stanton & Killeen branded barrels.
These limited-edition barrels are handcrafted from ex-bourbon and whiskey barrels purchased by 5th-generation winemaker Norman Killeen in the 1970s; these housed S&K fortified wines for more than 50 years.
Handcrafted by master cooper Andrew Young from the Barossa Valley, these barrels have undergone a lengthy 3-year seasoning process at the winery after being completed. Each barrel has a unique identification number, history plaque and signed certificate of authenticity.
You'll also receive the opportunity to create a personalised base blend to kick-start your winemaking journey.
